Feedback & appeals
Concerns about a story, and how to ask us to look again.
We want to hear when we fall short of our editorial policy.
Raise a concern
Please message us on X at @NRI2Global or through our Facebook Page. Tell us:
- the link to the story or post;
- what the concern is — accuracy, fairness, privacy, a photo or logo, or something else;
- any source or document we can check (a link is best; please do not send private records).
What happens next
- An editor reads every message and checks it against the sources for the story.
- If we need more information, we reply and ask.
- If the story needs changing, we change it and label the change. See Corrections.
- If we decide not to change it, we tell you why when you have asked for a reply.
Appeals
If you disagree with the outcome, tell us and say why. Where possible, an editor who did not handle the first review looks at it again.
Privacy and removal requests
If a story identifies you and you believe it should not, tell us which story and why. We take particular care with children and with victims of crime.
Legal notices
Send legal notices and court orders through the same channels, with the story link. Valid court orders are acted on promptly.
