Reported Green Card Freeze Hits Eight Tech Firms

Media reports indicate the U.S. suspended or froze the Green Card process for eight technology firms, including TCS and Infosys.

The reported actions affect Indian information technology workers and named employers seeking permanent residency.

Sridhar Vembu urged Indians to return home after the reported freeze at the eight tech firms.

India warned of a talent impact following the reports, according to Gulf News.

GTRI stated the reported freeze serves as a warning for Indian IT firms and an opportunity for GCCs.

Industry veterans and experts stated the reported freeze may accelerate American work moving to India and push more jobs to the country.

Workers at TCS, Infosys, and other named IT firms face reported Green Card suspensions, though no official government notice has been confirmed.
