USCIS denaturalizes man convicted of naturalization fraud and child sex crimes

USCIS said 72-year-old Cyril Domaquik Clemens, a native of Liberia, was convicted of naturalization fraud. USCIS also said Clemens was convicted of child sex crimes. A federal judge revoked his citizenship and judicially ordered him removed from the U.S. USCIS said it assisted in the investigation that led to his sentencing. The notice was issued on Oct. 15, 2026.

For Indian-origin immigrants, this case underscores the severe consequences of concealing a criminal history during the naturalization process.
